25 Mar MINISTER OF CULTURE VISITS VIARCO
At Viarco, on Poetry Day we received the visit from Graça Fonseca, Minister of Culture, and Jorge Sequeira, President of Municipal Council of SJM, fuelled by the commemoration of an art that “…must be celebrated essentially outside the books”, quoting the Minister.
We stopped the production, we recited poems presented by our employees, by Paulo Condessa and by the Minister of Culture on the annual session of artistic recreation that is already usual at our factory.
Poesia à Mesa (Poetry at the Table) is a literary festival that in the recent years brings poetry to council factories thought playful moments, that goes beyond the tribute to the selected writers, allowing to grow the creativity between employees and communication of our historic heritage deeply connected to artistic expression.
